BSU Creativity!

Last month my nephew was going to a 10th birthday party for a buddy who loves Boise State Football.  Part of his gift was a certificate for a home BSU game.  They wanted to know if I could design some kind of gift certificate for the party.  And of course I did.....

 This is the second part that slides into the pocket.  The actual "certificate"

I love to step outside my comfort zone and try something new.  I'm not a blue and orange person, but I thought htis turned out stinkin' cute!

Scrapbook Room--Work in Progress

Just a quick update on the scrapbook room. I am slowly moving my things in, as the counters are finished, and the drawers are in place. It is absolutely gorgeous! Matt still needs to add some shelves and frame in the window to tie it all together, but it is useable space and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Since these photos were taken, I have gotten my things put away and have actually considered starting a project or two. I haven't scrapbooked since Christmas, so I'm having some withdrawls, but soon I will be ready to go. Thanks for looking! Can't wait to be back in the swing of things here in the next couple of weeks and posting more projects and cards.

Some of my recent work

Last year, I organized a card swap with some of my scrappin' friends and it has turned into a really fun monthly project. Each month we pick a theme and make cards accordingly. Then we swap out and you end up with a whole handful of birthday cards or other kind of card. Comes in really handy when you forget a birthday to have a whole stack of hand made cards on hand! And it's fun to try new techniques. Here are some of my recent cards.
