Yesterday I let Cameron have her time on the computer. I came back upstairs to find a screwdriver lying in front of the screen and five or so small round chips out of the middle of my monitor. I asked her what she did and she told me she was tired of the computer loading and she tried to hit it out. I didn't even know what to say. One thing is for sure, I never thought I'd have to have the conversation that went something like, "Kids, we never ever ever use a screwdriver on the computer." Really. But, the longer I'm experiencing the joys of motherhood, the more random and crazy conversations I find myself having. Just this week I have not only discussed the pros and cons of using a screwdriver on the computer, we've talked about where Snow White lives and why we can't look up her phone number in the phone book. We've discussed why it is important not to run naked through the front yard while waving our bottoms around in the air and I've actually asked why there is a tuna sandwich...under the dog. Not kidding. And, I consider this to be a slow and rather calm week.
I am so trying to get back into the blogging scene. I am trying hard to remember to not only take pictures, but post them, but alas, not only have I been pregnant crummy, I managed to catch this nasty flu that's been circulating. Needless to say, another unproductive week for me. Lots of tv, and lots of reading, but not a whole lot of anything else. We had a few sunny days and now it's back to wind and rain. My one goal for yesterday was to disinfect. Everything. I hate the flu. It just makes the whole house feel gross. So now that the flu is behind us (please Lord, let the flu be behind us) Tucker is coughing, Cameron is snotting, and Matt and I are both feeling yucky and sore throats. Figures, we're so close to warm weather, and yet, we have to all make another round of visits to the doctor for drugs.
On a lighter note, I am working on my newest swap of birthday cards and should have those finished today or tomorrow so I may actually have something to post that is craft related. Here's hoping.
