So in order to prepare for miss Bria's arrival, of course we had to shower her with gifts. Leanne, Marianne and I took care of the shower and of course we had to go all pinky pink because that's what girls do.
So we had the shower at Serenity Assisted Living because nobody has a house big enough to house the fifty plus people that were invited. And going with the cupcake trend, I designed cupcake toppers that you will be able to see in the next couple of shots.
Diaper cakes were also huge, I think she had four or five different ones show up.
This is the diaper cake that I designed. I can't seem to get away from the hot pink and brown. This is the only reason I would ever want to have another baby, just so maybe I could decorate the room in hot pink and brown. I love this combo!
Lots of gifts and lots of helpers...
I also attempted to create some of the big tissue paper puffs for added decorations. I made these for Cameron's fairy party last summer and these just work great for adding a lot of decor for a little amount of money.
The 50 cupcakes that were decorated with scalloped circles on lollipop sticks, handstamped with Bria's name and tied with organza ribbons. I thought they were super cute!
And so we got Bria showered and clothed and then we were ready to hunker down and wait the last month, but low and behold, she came just a few days later. Sweet girl! You were a surprise and so considerate to let your Mommy out of the last month of pregnancy and still be healthy and wonderful. Welcome to the family! We love you!
Bria's Baby Shower looks stunning. Each and every detail from this pink and white shower here is so inspirational. I am using the table décor and the cake design idea for my cousin’s baby shower this weekend. I have already booked one of the indoor rental spaces for parties for this family party.
