Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
One of my favorite collections of poems ever. Shel Silverstein was a huge part of my childhood. I loved these poems, can vividly remember my third grade teacher reading these out loud to us while we waited to go to the bus. I remember getting my own hard-cover edition for Christmas one year. When I was teaching third grade, I also read these poems to my students. I think they are timelessly humorous for children and would highly recommend them to anyone. I can't wait for Cameron to get just a little older so she can get all of the humor involved.

My husband and I both loved Shel Silverstein when we were children, and our boys love A Light in the Attic...one of Camden's favorite choices for story time each night!
