Finally, after being MIA on posting details about life in general, here is what I have been working on....or should I say what my husband has been working on. This is my scrapbook room, getting close to being finished. All that is left is paint touch up, a curtain, and some extra lighting. Oh, and decor. I love decor. But, due to budgeting, this will have to happen slowly but surely.
This first photo is my cubicles that are chock full of old editions of magazines. I'm hoping to slowly work my way through these, get rid of the oudated ones and add more albums and paper storage here.
This next photo is the main area that I intend to work in. This is MY space. My drawers are loaded with all of my most used punches, adhesives, stamps, pads, etc. All within reaching distance. I am also close to not only my Cricut, but my newest addition to the fun, my Epic 6. I am still looking for the perfect chair, for now, I am sharing the chair with the computer. I am absolutely IN LOVE with my shelf above. This is where I can display my most recent card making creations. This way, I know what I have, am more apt to actually grab one and stick it in the mail for someone, and I get to see that I am indeed a tad bit creative.
A close up, because I am a freak, of my paper flower collection on my shelves on the sides of the main window. Can I just say how happy it makes me to have organized flowers? I probably won't even use the darn things because I enjoy the splash of color they give the room.
Another shot of my "cutting" space. Cricut, Epic 6, etc. And my 16 paper trays. 16 trays? Is Matt just begging for me to buy more paper, or what?
This is the "Sewing" station. Found to the Left of the main window. I can just roll across and sew something and then roll back to my working station. It also shows the shelving that Matt built on both sides of the window for me to fill with assorted jars. Now I have more storage than stuff, which means I'm going to have to shop. A lot.
So there you have it. My newest hideaway. Of course Cameron thinks half the room is hers, but it's just easier to let her think that. I'm working on some vinyl lettering ideas, some window valance ideas, and a cool but comfy office chair. I bought the barstools at Target for both of my other spaces, but for the main space, I'm thinking comfy, long hours of scrapbooking while drinking wine type of chair.
Now I know you're not going to believe this, but I have actually made some things in my room and I have photos to prove it. So for those of you who have been getting awfully bored of reading my book reviews, get ready. I'm feeling well enough to pry myself off the couch for the first time in 4 1/2 months and I'm ready to get creative. Photos of projects to come. Hopefully on a consistent basis. Atleast until this baby decides to make an appearance. Did I mention I'm 20 weeks on Saturday? Half way through this hell that is called pregnancy. And it's a boy. Can't remember if I ever said that, but another boy. Perfect.
